Querceta, l’incrocio sull’Aurelia.
Questi sketch fatti mentre Elena prende la pizza stanno diventando interessanti. Tutti i contorni sono stati disegnati sul posto, i tratteggi invece sono stati completati a casa. Le ombreggiature invece sono state fatte con il waterbrush, diluendo direttamente l’inchiostro sul pennino della stilografica. Quando si usa il Lexington Grey il lavoro viene pulito ed è possibile anche completare il disegno col colore mantenendo le ombre già fatte.

These sketches I make while waiting for Elena to buy some pizza are beginning to get interesting. All the linework has been sketched on location; the crosshatch instead has been done at home. Shadows have been added diluting ink on the nib of my fountain pen. When you use Lexington Grey you get a clean job and you can also complete your sketch with some colour, keeping every shadow you’ve done before.
