New sketchbook

E sapete cosa? Ne sono completamente soddisfatto. Disegnate e basta! A new sketchbook is always frightening. The terror of the white page is hugely amplified if you bound it yourself, with some beautiful paper and a lovely brown cover, putting your personal stamp on the first page just like it was sort of a rare and precious artisanal booklet. And it is, actually. But I found it truly liberating the act of opening the brand new sketchbook in front of a less than ordinary scenery and putting the pen on paper without worrying too much. So, this sketchbook was baptised in a supermarket parking lot while waiting for my wife to buy a few items for our dinner. And do you know? I’m perfectly happy with it. Just sketch!
